Opening night is tomorrow for our next Colonial Actors Theatre Society Community Theater Production! Several surprises are in store as members of our community sit in the choir for this southern favorite. Smoke on the Mountain takes place in 1938 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in North Carolina. The play presents a Saturday Night Gospel Sing featuring the Sanders Family in their first night back on the gospel circuit in five years. Between songs, the family members tell personal stories that relate to their trials of faith.
This show is sponsored by Citizens Community Bank.
The dates of the production run as follows:
May 18, 19, and 26 at 8pm
May 20 and 27 at 2:30pm
TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE UNDER OUR EVENTS TAB!
